SYME JAPAN

SYME 春学期がスタートしました(^^)新たに生徒もも与えられ、楽しく英語と聖書の勉強をしています。既に梅雨に入ってしまったのか、ここのところ雨が続いています。軽井沢の雨はとても綺麗です。外に出ることができないのは残念ですが。
Spring term has been started. We have given new students and learning English and the Bible with great joy.
It's been raining since last week, seems like Karuizawa is in the rainy season. But it's beautiful here.

先月の終わりにSYME 生徒、先生、スタッフ皆で、遠足のようなものに出かけてきました。 場所は、長野県長野市。軽井沢から車で約2時間はかかるのですが、道中車内は賑やかでした。

まずはじめに、善光寺へいきました。善光寺へ行く前にMr. Johnから日本のお寺と聖書当時のイスラエルの神殿の共通点についてを学びました。
私達、全ての人間は神様を礼拝する為につくられたのだなーと感じました。

その後、猿を近くで見ることができるという公園にいきました。そこでは本当にたくさんの猿達が走り回っていて、中には温泉でくつろぐ猿もいたり。 みんな写真をたくさんとって楽しんでいました。
あっという間に過ぎ去った1日でした。

The end of last month we as SYME gad a school trip and we all went to Nagano city and first we visited Zenkoji which is old and famous temple in Japan. before visiting that temple we had a lecture by Mr. John our teacher about some common pints of Japanese temple and the temple in the Bible.
We all thought we are made to worship Him.

Then after that we went to monkey park. We all enjoyed quite bit of hiking and taking some pictures of monkeys.
I'll post some pictures from that day.

4月14日、皆さんはどの様にバレンタインデーを過ごしましたか？
SYMEではアメリカの文化に習い、男性が女性にプレゼントを贈りました。
前日の夜は皆で遅くまでキッチンなどで準備をしました。
夜にはバレンタイン夕食を持ち、皆で楽しい時間を過ごすことが出来ました。
We had great Valentine's Day at SYME Japan. How about yours? Did you have a good day?
In Japan girls usually give some gifts to boys on Valentine's day. But at SYME we are respecting the way of American Valentine's day for boys to give some encouragement for girls.
And we had Valentine banquet with the meals that Mrs Jessica provided for us. We absolutely enjoyed that time.

We had a great time to reach out the gospel at KIF (Karuizawa International Fellowship the church we have sunday services every week)

先週、私達SYMEの生徒、先生たちが一緒になりKIF (軽井沢インターナショナル フェロウシップ ここで毎週日曜日礼拝を持っています) にて軽井沢観光にきた人々と交わるための交流会のようなものを開きました。

We had free hot drinks and camp fire so that people could stop by and worm their body up.
and actually many young people stopes by and had nice conversations with students. Amazingly some of our students got opportunities to share the gospel with those.

あたたかい飲み物や、キャンプファイアなどを用意して多くの観光客の方々が足を運んでくれること祈りました。
そして、神様は多くの若者を送ってくれました。
生徒達は、楽しく会話をし、福音を聞いてもらうことも出来ました。

God is working through us! Students and teachers are felt through this event. Be available our self to God and He is going to take care after words.
Thank God that we could have so wonderful time to meet new people from many different places.

生徒、スタッフ共に、このイベントを通して神様が働いておられるということを確信しました。
この様な機会が与えられたこと本当に感謝です。
